The embryonic Headstock Band started life in 2006 when Riley and Antcliff met at work, stumbling across their shared interest of making music, and teamed up for regular jamming sessions. It wouldn't be long before the duo were playing the local scene with a couple of acoustic guitars. This laid the foundations of what would become 'Surrender The Booty', the first incarnation of Headstock. After the comings and goings of various personnel during that early period, Andy Howley joined the band in 2008 as the lefty bass, becoming a permanent member of the group along with the then drummer, Richard Warrener. Fast forwarding to 2011 and the group was a trio for a while until new drummer Alan filled the missing piece of the current lineup, joining in June 2011. |

Our strength is our range of material and the wide variety of artists and decades we cover. We have two real songsmiths in the band so we also perform our own work.
